ElizabethPLATTPLATT - ELIZABETH , . formerly of Beechburn Road, Huyton died peacefully on 23rd July, 2021, aged 88 years, in Hurst Park Court Care Home following a 3 year decline in her health after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Elizabeth was the beloved wife of the late Des Platt and beloved sister of the late Molly Taylor; devoted and well loved mum of Desmond, Cathy, Clare and Elizabeth and mother in law to Pete and Mannie; well loved grandma to John, Matthew, Anna, Rosie, Kate, Luke and Grace and recent great grandma to James Meddick, who sadly she did not have the pleasure of meeting. To her friends and neighbours, she was Betty, always a kind person who would do anything for them. Elizabeth will be sadly missed and the family would like to thank Dot Finlay for being a very loyal friend to their mum for many years, which continued when Elizabeth moved into Hurst Park. Dot would visit her frequently until Covid-19 snatched this away. The family would also like to thank Hurst Park carers for all the loving care their mum received there and especially for the sensitive way they approached the family prior to and following the death of their lovely mum. Funeral Service will take place at St Margaret Mary's RC Church, Pilch Lane, L14 0JG on Wednesday 11th August 2021 at 10.30am followed by Springwood Crematorium L25 7UN.
